A leading appliance manufacturer wanted to improve the user experience for one of their products.
What we did:
We completed a deep dive at home ethnography to understand triggers and barriers. Then we conducted quali-quant co-creation sessions at the Explorer lab. Explorer Design Studio artists drafted ideas as they were being discussed with consumers. Final usability of the end product was conducted in the Explorer Kitchen Lab to quantify the winning prototype
The new appliance has launched in market with competitors following this innovative design.
