Position Summary

Research assistants are responsible for the in-field execution of qualitative and quantitative consumer research studies. They conduct one on one interviews and assist in projects relating to understanding consumer shopping behaviors for a variety of clients. Execution of consumer and market study fieldwork both in our labs and at other locations. Potential opportunity to work on coding eye-tracking data, on the job training will be provided.

Data entry assistants are responsible for analyzing in-field results of consumer research studies and apply quantitative techniques to gather relevant information.

Average work week for either ranges from 30-40 hours, with flexibility.

Explorer Research conducts projects across Canada and the US – availability to travel is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one on one interviews with respondents to gain consumer insights in-lab or out In field
• Use of biometric and eye tracking technology
• Assist analysts with coding data
• Project set up and take down
• Occasionally lead field work off location
• Coordinating multiple respondents by directing them to appropriate study
• Assist with end of day closing tasks
• Ensure required technologies are set up and properly shut down
